1911 Colt Scope Mount WEIG-A-TINNY®
Fits Weaver and Picatinny style attachments
The most rugged, foolproof scope mount ever designed for the 1911 Auto. Attaches to the dust cover; places the scope forward, over the top of the slide for improved balance and faster sight or red dot alignment. Lightweight, rugged mount won't flex , even when used with major power factor loads. Enhances reliability, does not interfere with ejection. Clearance cut for Colt, Enhanced Slides. Includes installation instructions and Allen mounting screws.
Accepts Weaver and Picatinny style rings. 4-1/2" in length, 6061 T-6 Hardened Aluminum, silver or black, matte anodized finish, weighs 2.4 ounces. Fits 1911 Auto and clones, Government length frames. Can be easily adapted to wider frames with standard length dust covers.
*Installation of this scope mount requires drilling and tapping of frame.
It also requires removing material from the front of the slide stop.
Rounding the slide stop off even with the cross pin.
